Centrally located in the heart of Gorey, Co. Wexford, The Academy offers an 18 month diploma course, which runs conveniently over just 2 days a week. The Mags Browne Hairdressing Academy offers the very best start to any student who wants to achieve their full potential within hairdressing.With a healthy obsession for education, our philosophy is to motivate & inspire through the concept of teamwork. All students receive an intensive in-salon experience and in-depth training in all up to date trends and techniques.
In 2006 Award winning stylist Mags Browne opened her own salon in Gorey, Co. Wexford. Mags trained with Toni & Guy, Ireland , working her way up to become an International Artistic Director and full-time educator in their Academy. Toni & Guy are the world’s largest hairdressing chain.
What is an Artistic Director?
International Artistic Directors are recognized for talent and creativity, they are the driving force behind the global success of Toni & Guy, from pioneering new cutting or colour techniques, teaching courses, creating hair for editorial, photo shoots, fashion shows and TV. With a healthy obsession for education, their philosophy is to motivate & inspire through the concept of teamwork.
Mags also has experience in teaching courses for L’Oreal, Wella and Toni & Guy.
In 2017 Mags has been invited to join Alfaparf Ireland’s multi award winning “Nexxt Generation” team. Her role as a style Ambassador will be to introduce the worlds first structured , precision cutting education program to salons around Ireland.
Mags is responsible for all Browns stylists’ progressive educational programs.

Salons can create their own education program, if you are completing a apprenticeship it is up to the individual salon to educate and certify. This is why we decided to open our Hairdressing Academy. We certify through ITEC and educate through our experiences tutors who have vast experience with the worlds largest hairdressing chain and numerous hair care providers.

Mags Browne has over 15 years experience as a top hairdressing educator having worked in Tony and Guy as their Academy’s Educator and International Artistic Director. She was also a Wella Academy Ambassador for many years, while working in her own salon in Gorey- Browns hairdressing- which is one of the top quality salons in North Wexford.
